Melbourne Victory will not be pressured into making rash re-signings despite Melbourne Heart scouring the market for players, reports the Herald Sun.

Should the Victory be worried, or is that just PR spin?




Matt Thompson grabbed the third goal

Sportal reports that Newcastle "Skipper Matt Thompson grabbed the third goal in the same week he announced he'd joining new Hyundai A-League outfit Melbourne Heart next season before Alex Brosque responded for Sydney late in the game."

A few like that next year Matt would be very nice.

Mark Viduka to Heart?

The Age reports, rather speculatively it would seem, that the Heart will contact both Mark Viduka and Josip Skoko about their interest in returning to Australia.

However, the same article does report on the definite signing of Dean Heffernan.
